monday

Today has been one of those days where I feel like this morning was literally a week ago.  And I'm left wondering where the heck my weekend went.  I remember taking way too many pictures, laughing with my friends, watching movies with my boyfriend.  All of these things squished in between hours of work at both Dairy Queen and The Lantern.  Maybe it's because it was so hectic that I can't even believe it's over.  I find myself already wanting it to be this weekend, though it's far, far away.  No plans for Halloween yet, though I have the night off of both my jobs AND I have a costume.  Guess I should figure something out :)

For now, I have a dreadful cold and I'm stuck sitting in my apartment attempting to do some English homework that I forgot about today for class (oops) and debating making motzerella sticks or just waiting till Tyler gets off work and having him bring me food.  Both options sound excellent.

To completely change topic and get off this rant, I'm really enjoying working on my project for English.  Though it's more complicated than I anticipated, I knew picking something I'm passionate about would be immensely beneficial.  On Wednesday, I'll be making my presentation on the stage as an "object" in my project, as I see it being a huge factor in a punk rock show.  Wish I had remembered to have it done for today though. Darn.

Anyway, I'm going to try to get some more work done before my apartment is once again stormed with boys when my boyfriend gets off work. For now, no distractions :)

  1. hey just so you know i have a countless amount of friends and buddies that i toured with for over three years around the midwest, but most of them reside in stl. they are true underground diy punk/hardcore kids, and if you ever needed, could probably give you great material for your paper. shows happen 2-3 times a week, so if you ever want to, just let me know and i can set something up for you. plus if it's something you enjoy, they you might just want to go anyway :)
